The person behind the numbers

About Amanda.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA, with a background in public accounting, revenue management, and real estate development. Horses weren’t always part of my world — I came back to them as an adult, right in the middle of building my career. Turns out, those two things had more in common than I expected.

Becoming a horse owner opened my eyes to how stressful the financial side of this world can be. Even with my background, it felt overwhelming at times. So I started Stable Ledger to be the resource I wished had existed — a bookkeeper who actually understands your world. Someone who knows what a coggins test is, gets why that emergency vet bill just wiped out your budget, and won’t make you feel embarrassed about the state of your books.

I’m not here to judge. I’m here to help you get a handle on your finances so you can spend more time doing what you love.

 

Amanda also proudly serves as Treasurer of Kindred Spirits Ranch NH, a nonprofit providing equine-assisted therapy for veterans, at-risk youth, and survivors of domestic violence
